In September of 2012 I was brought to Uganda to capture the story of Raising the Village. The goal of RTV is to work in the hardest to reach villages, where aid has been neglected, and to teach communities how to use the tools and resources they have to over time become sustainable.
This was one of the most rewarding trips I've ever been on both mentally and physically. Over the span of two weeks we visited numerous villages, endured much rain, and travelled many miles over roads that could be considered not much more than dirt paths. I had to keep things light, and be able to carry all my own equipment. Including a tripod, 2 Canon 5Ds, a set of L-Series lenses, as well as camping gear, clothing, and food. It wasn't easy but I personally feel the most rewarding experiences in life come from travel and exploring other parts of the world.Cinematography, Film2013

Back in July I was approached by my good friends who make up the band, the Cardinals. They wanted to record their album in a raw and authentic way, playing live on the floor at B-Town sound in Burlington, ON. We assembled for two days and recorded/filmed 4 songs, this track included, which we will be releasing films in the coming weeks.
My role was Director of Photography as well as Editor.
